GSR Schools
GSR Schools are periodically made available that focus not only on the role of the General Service Representative, but give a useful overview of the entire A.A. service structure in the United States and Canada. Oregon Area districts are customarily aided by the Alternate Delegate in hosting these workshops.
Visit the GSR Resources page for sample GSR school agendas and workbooks.
Internal Communications Audit Report
The AA General Service Board hired an outside consulting firm to perform a communications audit. The goal is to improve relations and communications among all levels of the service structure.
The ultimate objective of the audit is to assist A.A. in becoming a stronger, more unified organization in which the Boards, office and administration and Fellowship work together to fulfill A.A.’s mission of helping those who struggle with alcoholism to achieve and maintain sobriety.
The first few pages (4-10) give an overview of the methodology used to conduct the survey. The Findings begin on page 11 and that’s where the results of the research is shared.
Please share this with your groups and with members at large.
I am interested in any and all feedback. I am particularly interested in hearing what does the fellowship think needs to change?
