DCM Resources

The District Committee Member is an essential link between the group G.S.R. and the area delegate to the General Service Conference.

The DCM provides leadership and information to the GSRs and group conscience of the groups within his or her district. As a member of the Area committee, the DCM is able to pass on the district’s thinking to the delegate and the committee. DCM sharing sessions at the Area Assemblies are an opportunity to learn about DCM responsibilities and to exchange information.

As DCM, you can help Area 58 serve your district by:

• Checking the website for District events;
• Sending all Area and District events to the Webservant for inclusion on the website calendar;
• Updating District meeting lists on a monthly basis (or more frequently if needed);
• Updating service committee information.

Contact the Webservant if an event does not appear on the events calendar within a day to two and to report any non-functioning links or pages. When submitting information, please sanitize flyers and other information – no member last names, personal emails, phone numbers or photos.
